Xiaomi Phones - Global Version and Global Version Differences

Just a heads up I'm a little concerned and confused by dealers selling "Global Version" Xiaomi phones. What I've noticed is Global version could mean Rom or extra 4G phone bands and international Rom.

Because they sell it as a global version you might think your getting extra band 28 Etc but in fact you may not be. You could only be getting extra languages other than default English and Chinese AKA "Global Version rom," and might not know it until too late!
Just be careful before you click the trigger could end up being a costly mistake.

Maybe it's a typo from the sites but I wouldn't take the risk.

You have to be very careful when buying Xiaomi phones, there are many dodgy sellers out there that intentionally list their phones incorrectly.
It amazes me that Xiaomi have alllowed this to happen for many years.
Retailers "could" quote the exact model number being sold as it is marked on the box and that model number does specify exactly what the phone is.
Even Xiaomi's naming of their phones could be improved. For example how many have purchased a Xiaomi Remi ? instead of a Xiaomi Remi Note ?..
Fantastic phones but their market presence needs a big clean up.
