Yep, you're certainly right with the 250g bags. Total rip off. The 1kg bags are much better value but there have been comments from previous deals that this brand didn't taste very fresh.
Yeah, not wrong. Almost everywhere including local cafes and roasters, 250g is in the $14-16 mark.
Having said that, I really enjoyed my last batch from Bada Bean. Especially when I got my moka brewer. Then when I ran out, I got beans from my local cafe and they aren't all that nice, I guess they are better suited for Milky espresso.
Plus it's convenient delivered to my door.
Wonder if Bay Beans or Manna Beans are doing any deals.
Got any recs for roasters? I'm getting $16-20 for my 200-250g at the moment.
Really nice people at the company but I cannot support their product. Oily and dark. I thought this was because I ordered a dark roast accidentally, which I did, the support very nicely sent me a sample of their lighter roast, and it was still just oily and bitter. Sorry guys.
Same impression here - was too dark for me.
They don't put the roast date on the bags.

I got their 250g bag last month for $9 delivered from Amazon. Quite nice I think. But I'm not a coffee drinker, so no idea about oily stuff, only that 7-11, maccas coffee is horrid & bitter this was a lot smoother (i use an aeropress)
BOGOF brings the price of this coffee from outrageous to standard. Not sure what is special about it, at normal prices it’s nearly double the price of a very good, freshly roasted coffee. Unless I’m missing something.
