Dealer service or Euro Service Centre for Renault

In Melbourne's Bayside area and need a service centre that is going to fix my car properly. The windscreen washer container or more likely the hose or connection is leaking. Previously the headlight washers were also not working, but when the dealer came back with a min $200 diagnosis cost I baulked. Yes I understand you have to pay for investigation to work out what the issue is. That was to take off the front bumper.

Have been to Euro specialist in Oakleigh. The cost of the service is really about the same. They had a look at it once and I believe it is the same issue, and they just said it was the AC condensate. Now thinking about it I think it has been the windscreen washer reservoir all along. I have filled the reservoir and seen the water come out near the container. Its constant and I need to keep filling it up as I use the wiper cleaners all the time.

Maybe someone could recommend other service centres for a Renault Megane RS265. I also need a loan car and be close to Abbotsford, so pick up of the car is easy. Happy to drive to a further out service centre if a loan car available.

Thanking all in advance.

I already know this service isn't going to be cheap if I want these things fixed. I just don't want to get ripped off.

UPDATE: Took it to a Renault specialist mechanic. Can say the service was ok, but for the price it was probably the same as going to a dealer.
A few concering things. 1.I know they did not re-test drive the car after the services. 2. They didn't put back my nut covers to the front of the 2 wheels. I called and told them. They looked and found them, but never got a call back the next day. I had to call them. So picked them up which was out of the way and 1 nut cover missing. 3. Looked at the brake calipers and the rubber nibs were missing. 4. Some more scratches on car, but I cant prove that.

    Too late for that.

    • Yep. Now it's a case of trying to reduce any additional maintenance costs. To be fair the Renault hasn't been to bad, but the car is now 5 years old. Out of warranty and starting to show some wear and tear.

  • Just make sure they don’t charge your for Elbow Grease - that’s where they really overcharge you!
