What Would You Value This Second Hand PC Now, and by Mid 2020

Probably looking to build a new PC next year, was wondering what a fair price would be for the components of my current PC if I were to sell it around mid next year with the rumours(? who knows) of some new CPU's and GPU's around that time.

Specs of current PC:

  • 6600k
  • MSI Armor GTX 1070
  • Corsair 16gb 2400mhz
  • 480gb Kingston ssd
  • 650w EVGA Supernova G3
  • NZXT H440 White
  • Corsair H115i 280mm water cooler
  • MSI Z170 Krait Gaming

purchased Dec 2016, used a lot but kept in clean condition

I'd still consider it pretty good, but just don't really know what its second hand value would be,

    the gtx is about $250-330, ram $80 or so, ssd $50-60, 650w evga about $100, 6600k $100-120, msi mobo about $70-100

    is current pricing, if i had a crystal ball i would let you know the price 8 months from now.

      Yep agree with these estimates as of right now.

      Mid next year? No clue. RTX 30 series will drop. New processors are likely as well. Other items will devalue based on perceived age.

    I would keep that comp & use it as a media centre
    I keep all my comps that I built for myself,
    people will never pay for what you put into it
