looks to be out of stock as well

        • Looks like they just updated it. That didn't last long.

Amazon has it for $169.15, not sure if the $50 Philips cash back applies to Amazon orders.

          • +1

@Capensis: I emailed the Philips promotion team and they advised that Amazon AU is an approved seller. So cashback should be valid.

  • Stick some RGB on it and razer can sell it.

  • That's a nice looking iron

  • Great iron! Dad knows too ๐Ÿ˜‰

I bought it in Amazon last time it was on sale.

  • this looks sexy.

what is the difference with irons though? vs $30 kmart one?

i find all irons loose that smooth glide and get that sticky stuff on it which makes it rough.

    i rarely iron.

    • "smooth glide and get that sticky stuff on it which makes it rough"

You forgot the words "hot" and "steamy"

The Good Guys commercial price is $156. Then after cashback of $50 is $106.

    • Myers is out of stock so heading to this. thanks!

      Edit:
      Nope it's priced at 189

You need a commercial account in order to get the price of $156 (https://www.thegoodguyscommercial.com.au). I bought one for $156 today via TGG commercial.

        • How do you get a commercial account?

          • @PeeDee: There are many ways to get a commercial account with TGG. I have been aware of two.
+ a certain union membership can get one via Union Shop.
+ my company has partnership with the club shopper and i got one via the club shopper.

            • @BenTran: My union and company's incentives unfortunately isn't that big. I will be waiting for a deal of this…

            • @BenTran: I got it from good guys commercial via MBA. They rejected my cashback stating it was a corporate purchase.

              • @cyclone22: Did you raise this issue with them or was the purchase clearly excluded in their T&Cs?

                • @unity1: I called them and they told me because the invoice had MBA name it is not eligible. This is the email I got.

Specifically your claim does not meet the following T&C:

Clause 3 & 4 - Eligibility & Participation - Corporations, companies, body corporate bodies, groups, organisations and any other corporate bodies and non-corporate bodies are not eligible to participate in this promotion.

                  • @cyclone22: I don't understand the legal jargon but sounds harsh. You received your account through an organisation but the purchase was for personal use.

That is the best looking iron I've ever seen!!

The iron I've got only gets used once a year if that so no point buying a new one, even if it looks awesome!

  • Pretty sleek looking. It has a spoiler.

  • I bought it from Amazon instead, $187.20 if anyone is interested.

    • Can you claim the $50 cashback if you purchased from amazon? T&C says
Purchase an Eligible Philips Product(s) (as set out in Clause
      16) from any participating Australian retail store during the
Promotional Period and follow the steps below. Trade seconds
products are excluded. Please note that Big W, Target, Costco,
JB Hi-Fi Airport Store and purchases through dental practices
are not participating retail stores for this promotion.

  • Got one of these, far better than your standard higher end Philips irons (non steam generator ones) but it drinks like a fish.

I'd suggest using distilled water to avoid scale if you can. I don't but I wish I had a bulk source of it so I could avoid it farting brown stuff occasionally.

  • Managed to scoop the last one up from Appliances Online eBay store where they'd matched this price with the POWA15 discount code.

    • Is cashback available?

  • Harvey Norman priced match over online chat no cashback so just a few dollars more.

  • Missed out. Will be eyeing for another deal like this.

  • Shopback was rejected because Myer applied a discount code to the order to get the 15% off.

    • Ah really? Mine is still pending…
I never saw a discount code added

      • Did it come through in the end?

        • Mine is still pending - states it will be available by 09/12/19. I will keep you posted!

        • Just FYI - my ShopBack was approved

  • Has anyone's not shipped yet?

    • I received mine - took less than a week!
