I've bought several cd keys from them and never had a problem.
It's just a marketplace for resellers where they get keys from cheaper countries.

G2A is a selling platform. Sellers have keys from stolen to grey to legit.
I personally avoid the whole site because of the chance of buying stolen keys.
Some developers say they'd rather you outright pirate their stuff than support these sellers

This is the correct answer. CDKeys are better option but still considered grey-market although far more reliable than G2A.

    • is this legit? https://www.amazon.com.au/Office-2019-Professional-Plus-PC/d… saw similar price on g2a now amazon too. rrp is $600+. do they sell the keys to many people and make a cash grab, or it really is somehow legit?

        Read reviews:

"Key received approximately 2 hours after purchase. Initially activated on Microsoft Office website without issues, but approximately a week later Microsoft blocked the key."

These keys are generally organisational and get blocked if used inappropriately.

  • Apparently the website is used as a legal method of money laundering.
The website also charges you money if you are inactive, which is BS.
Most keys on there are stolen.

  • There's developers claiming that most of the keys from g2a are illegally sourced.
There are developers who actually prefer you pirate than use g2a.
Plus they use dodgey practices like requiring you to buy protection in case your key is cancelled due to it being illegitimate.
They know their site is a market for illegal keys and they charge you for buyer protection.
They're making money off the fact they know they're dodgey.
    Not a fan.

  • Yes, it's a dodgy site. There are many threads out there detailing poor customer experience and being scammed.

I recently made a purchase and had this G2A subscription added to my cart which I couldn't remove. After 7 days 'free trial', I was then charged for the subscription I never wanted.

Contacting them is useless. They just avoid taking responsibility and offering s refund.
