I Have a Big Head (Physically) and Need a Gaming Headset

Hi

I have several gaming headsets such as the Thrustmaster T Flight headset (which feels like a vice on my head) and am looking for recommendations on some nice comfy headset

I will be using the turtle beach tac so wired 3.5mm stereo would be great

Budget wise under $250 would be good

Any ideas

My son, who has a large head, recommends the Logitech G430, also known as the "Tyler1" headset.

  • I’ve got a sizeable noggin, and have a Steelseries Arctis 7 and find it super comfy. The 5 looks to use the same headband, but is wired, so might be worth looking at

    • I’ve also got the Arctis 7, with a sizeable melon, and find it can get I comfortable. I have the adjustable sweatband-material at its tallest setting for it to just fit.

They’re not terrible, but not my first choice. No complaints since I got them cheaply, though; everything else is great.

summit1g is known for having a massive head and he uses an Audio Technica ATH-ADG1X

  • I've got a pretty big head as well. We have Hs60, Arctis 3 and cloud stinger in our house. I find Arctis 3 to be easily the most comfortable.

  • Fellow big head here. I have no problem with the HyperX Cloud Alphas.

  • Excellent thanks for the advice. Cheers

  • Instead of of headphones, what about ear buds?

  • I looked at that but I use trackir for gaming which needs to attach to a headset

  • I have a big head too and have had a lot of problems with headphone sizes. HyperX Cloud II and DT770 are a tight fit. I'm very happy with the Fostex T50RP. You can mod it to your liking too (pads, headband, etc.)

  • ive got a big head and the chicks love it
