      I had the same problem trying to sign up with a yahoo email, tried at least 10 times and nothing EVER got sent to my inbox.
      
      Gave up and used the Google login method as that didn't require emailing a code - which is clearly broken,or was busted while getting OZbargained.

        @nismo: lol so I finally got those codes in my spam email. they came at 1:40am and 7:53am (tried twice). Good thing I signed up with Google instead. Got that email (in spam folder) at 3:52pm and did the ask a question thing straight away. Hopefully I get the giftcard today which other people have already gotten.

      Yeah, I find it hard to believe they really had 1,000 signups in that time frame with only 1,100 clicks.
      
      Especially as this is listed on their website as an "OzBargain" deal, so I'm assuming they didn't advertise it anywhere else.

        They read up on it / decide to come back later / get distracted / aren't interested in giving away personal details, and then a small percentage will do it.
        
        A 91% conversion rate is a marketer's dream. But I find it very hard to believe.

        I would think only a small percentage of people would do that.
        And of the people who did, a bunch of them would wait to see if it's legitimate first.

      Definitely seems fishy. 1000 sign ups out of 1100 clicks sounds like way too high a conversion. And I feel like some of the clicks may have been duplicate clicks. I'm sure I'm not the only one who clicks on a deal, reads a bit about it, closes it and goes back to work, then clicks back in later when I'm a bit more free.
      
      Having said that, I signed up, but I didn't click on the deal at all. I just followed the steps (i.e. I looked up the app in Play Store directly). I'm probably in the minority though but just wanted to put it out there.

        @illumination: My personal opinion is that they used OzBargain (perhaps Click Frenzy / 11.11 traffic) as publicity with no intention of giving out $10k.
        
        I hope someone can prove me wrong as it seems like an interesting app. But that's how it seems to me.
