The DLC for "The Messenger" is also free - do NOT forget to scroll down and add it to your account - it is easy to miss. The Messenger main game is currently free on Epic Games Store.

  I haven't played the DLC but the base game is neat, handles really well and the visuals are great :)

    Sure, with a historical time of 4 days!
    It is free now and will cost later, similar to Borderlands 2 Fight for Sanctuary.
    So, yes, still a deal.

      4 days of what? The DLC has been permanently free since it was released July 11 this year. Straight from the developers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRx6sx2sQcM&t=62. No deal.

        That Youtube says nothing. Remember that during the last Steam sale the devs of Payday 2 said that there will be NO more paid DLCs and all DLCs will be free from now on. Guess what - they went back on that and now the DLCs do cost money again.

        Tell me this:

        If Porsche make a new model and give it away for free from the start, would you think that was deal or would you say it was not just because Porsche did not slap a price on the model before then making it free?

        How is content/DLC that many companies charge for but is not charged this time not a good deal?

        But of course you are entitled to your opinion so feel free to be illogical.

            @wendellX: Regardless of it possibly costing money at any other point in time, it's still free now, and it's an add-on to an actual deal, for the base game. This makes it relevant to some people, so worth posting. (maybe your argument could have been for it to go in the forum, but then I'm not sure as many people would have seen it)
            I also missed the DLC when grabbing the base game, I don't know if I'll ever play them, but I'm glad I now have both the original and the DLC.

  Actually still free for me today (but I did add the messenger last week, so maybe only free if you have the base game).
