      Sorry, please do not state ' a lot of people still think like this'. Do not equate the actions of the black sheep to the beautiful prospering flock. I suggest you go and read the history during the middle ages to which this DLC is based and see what you can learn from the Holy battles. The crusaders have the most bloody history

        Like when after literally hundreds of years of violent military expansion, and on the doorstep of Europe, the King of Constantinople called on the RCC to rally Europe to come to their aid and stop the Muslim hordes before they conquered the world. Of course they were previously checked by Charles Martel at the battle of tours around 732 AD. Is that the kind of history you were after or did you have something a bit more 'revisionist' in mind?

          Colonialism is a fact of history. It has been actioned by all sides of the table from all major religious faiths. Battle of the holy lands has always been in dispute AND still is in dispute. Blood is on everyone's hands, however please do not connote that Christian Europe as defenders of the world, rather enforcers of their faith across the world, see Africa and the Americas.

            @Johno987: I didn't know the defensive actions of the Crusades were fought in America? Or are you changing the subject? As for the invasion of the America, I'm pretty sure that was the Spanish, English and French governments/Monarchies and not the RCC.

        You mean like what the followers of a certain prophet did to Palestine, Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, Spain Portugal, southern France, Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Austria etc etc?, oh and Persia and India?

        Point is, no one is without blood on their hands when it comes to the Middle East. Singling out Europe is just ignorant of history.

    Base game is free too, might give the game a shot.

    AoE 2 HD Saladin and Tariq Bin Ziyad campaign and now this. Fun fun fun.

      I got a bad link error that went away once the Base game is installed.
