Uber Rewards Launched in AU and NZ

Saw that Uber has released a rewards program. My wife's account has access to sign up, however, mine doesn't yet.

Depending on the tier, you can receive the following benefits:

  • Earn points on rides
  • Earn points on orders with Uber Eats
  • Extra rewards every 750 points
  • Uber Comfort savings
  • price confidence on a route
  • Premium phone support
  • Complimentary upgrades (coming soon)

I use uber 5+ times a week, so this has piqued my interest although I imagine we will all start out on the Bue tier and historically trips won't count?

    Signed up yesterday, received a free promo code for 1 free delivery or 1 free upgrade to Uber Comfort (up to $30).
    Got a promo code for the delivery which appeared to be generic.
    No code for the Uber Comfort but apparently it was automatically added to my account

    Was able to open both links to redeem my 'gift' but we will see when I ride next time.

      Did it start you at blue tier or did it use historical trips and bump you to gold/platinum?

    Crap, I signed up to Uber Rewards while I was travelling America.
    Got to Gold status but realised now I can't claim the benefits outside of the registered country.

    Now I have to try and de-register and ask to switch my locale.
