If you already have a stock of Canon lens and so live in this eco-system, this is the cheapest I have seen the Australian version of the EOS 90D which only came out a few months ago. This maxes out the $300 discount by about $20.
I have been eyeing off this or the 7D for some time now and this probably suits me better. Yes I know people who don't already have Canon lens or flash gun will suggest other brands, but to buy a couple of new lens and a good flashgun will set you back $1k - $2k… so it doesn't compare. If you already have Nikon lenses, there is nothing to see here.
I am seriously tempted.

Wow! And it only got released recently too! This may be the last great APSC DSLR for Canon. If you have APSC or FF Canon lens on hand, you'd be seriously tempted… The next price point up is more like $2,000 for the EOS R or $1,500 for EOS RP but plus an adapter (could cost more $).

They were out of stock - they just added one more to their store with another $100 off so witht he discount I just scored one for AU$1,198.40. Not sure if they'll add more but keep it on your watch lists!
