If you already have a stock of Canon lens and so live in this eco-system, this is the cheapest I have seen the Australian version of the EOS 90D which only came out a few months ago. This maxes out the $300 discount by about $20.

I have been eyeing off this or the 7D for some time now and this probably suits me better. Yes I know people who don't already have Canon lens or flash gun will suggest other brands, but to buy a couple of new lens and a good flashgun will set you back $1k - $2k… so it doesn't compare. If you already have Nikon lenses, there is nothing to see here.

I am seriously tempted.

  Wow! And it only got released recently too! This may be the last great APSC DSLR for Canon. If you have APSC or FF Canon lens on hand, you'd be seriously tempted… The next price point up is more like $2,000 for the EOS R or $1,500 for EOS RP but plus an adapter (could cost more $).

  They were out of stock - they just added one more to their store with another $100 off so witht he discount I just scored one for AU$1,198.40. Not sure if they'll add more but keep it on your watch lists!

    This is probably the lowest price possible for this camera, any deal. Was this online purchase and shipped from overseas?

      This was shipped from Queensland and i believe its aussie stock with an Australian plug on the charger etc. Happy with my purchase, its a great camera if you have a bunch of existing canon lenses.

        In addition to this, wanted to ask if there is a way to confirm that the unit you received, is not grey market etc. Here is the VideoPro website price: https://www.videopro.com.au/p-12757-canon-eos-90db-digital-s… which is same as the other stores like DigiDirect and ParramattaCameras.
        Had a chat with the sales rep, and when asking about this difference between the store website and the ebay channel, they stopped answering. What exactly is this Ebay Exclusive deal anyway? Is this funded by Ebay?
