Bionic Woman gets terrible reviews but the others aren't too bad. Australian prices are (in order) $32, $22.50, $18.50. I bought My Own Worst Enemy.

Please note that these are US REGION 1 DVDs so make sure your equipment can play them before buying.

Also this is my first deal posted so please be kind.

  • Good price. Be aware that apart from the different region code the DVDs probably are also a different system all together (NTSC vs. Pal). I kept forgetting this on my recent US trip, bought heaps of DVDs (for my all-region DVD player) and realized then at home that I couldn't watch them :(

  • So you're saying that you need a NTSC compatible Tv to play these?

  • Do not buy from this crew.

Dozens of warnings scattered across American websites.

They like to retain your credit card forever -you cannot access it after entering the details.

They charge shipping costs before shipping, and if they cannot supply what you've ordered - which is normal - will not refund shipping costs easily if at all.

    Customer service is non -existent.

Mods - this company should be banned - and this alleged bargain deleted asap to protect all Australians from credit card abuse.

    • Feel free to post some links

    • Lol, what on earth?? I've had at least 50 orders with them over years and years without any problems. They've been around forever and aren't perfect, but have a fantastic reputation as the best value for money dvd / blu ray site in the world bar none. I could post a thousand supportive links but apparently that's frowned upon so I recommend people have a look around Australian forums themselves if they're worried by the above in the slightest.

They do charge up front though, that part is correct. The rest not so much.

  • A specimen link as requested ……..

There are many others - but as always Tal if you get burned youré on your own.

  • The company changed hands when exactly B3?

The rest is all true B3 as well……….or is everyone on just these 2 sites talking squat?

oh and what Australian shopping forums are you talking about?

Yes, they charge up front. Yeah they can be slow. But over many years they've reliably delivered dozens of packages to me without any problems and - by far most importantly - they're the cheapest of the cheap. You can't have everything but for these prices I'm prepared to cut them a little slack.

Surely everybody who regularly imports dvds already knows this but it doesn't sound like you do. I'm dumbfounded that you're running around saying the sky is falling over some $10 tv shows. 'Credit card abuse?!?' Crazy talk.

Arguing over such small amounts isn't worth any more of my time so I guess I'll just encourage people to make up their own minds about possible or imagined risks here for the price.

And enforcer103, thanks for an interesting introduction to the world of ozbargain! Quite eye opening.

    • Ok B3 everyone else is wrong on the recent webpages I supplied - after Deep Discount changed hands - as opposed to 2008.

Credit card abuse is ok as well - the little bit of slack you refer to?
Or is this just charging shipping for items that Deep Discount won't ever supply?

And its not my fault the company you're promoting in your post is shonky.

I used to buy from them - but not anymore.

I'm just informing this community of the perils currently.
