OK so my partner won't shut up about wanting the Dyson AirWrap for Xmas.
So, rather than listen to her go on and on for the next month I plan on giving her one this week and living in peace.
It is normally $799 but the Dyson store has them for $679 at the moment.
Does anyone know if I can get it cheaper somewhere else, or an online store discount voucher code?

bought one for my sister couple of years ago, and she raves about it. Used to take her 45mins to dry her hair, now she's down to about 10-15mins. Go to their website and have a chat with their customer service, they might offer you a further discount if you own other dyson products
Airwrap is the curler isn't it? Does that help with drying hair too?

I bought one for my wife for $600, i was very lucky as a fellow ozbargainer gave me a coupon code that took off $200 for free.
My wife absolutely loves it. Is it worth even $600 definitely not, HOWEVER if she skips going to a hair salon for a few events because she feels like she can do something good with the Airwrap then you have more or less made your money back.
Also i would say the biggest down side to it (which really frustrates me) is the lack of a narrow head, most hair dryers have it…even the supersonic does as well…
The Airwrap js the hairdryer and curling attachments. The SuperSonic is just the hairdryer.
I would strongly suggest that your gf try out the curling attachments in a store (if she hasn’t already) as they aren’t as easy to make work as they look in the videos and a lot of people just can’t seem to work them. $800 is a lot of money to spend if she will never use (or can’t) most of the items that come with it.
The dryer on its own is only $400ish (from memory).
I have a GHD Air and I can dry thick long hair in 15mins. The price tag is also much nicer.

I would do yourself a favour and grab the deal from Dyson simply because… I purchased it for my mum and it turns out her hair wasn't working well with the Dyson and she looked more like she had been in a hurricane than anything. However, on another person it work beautifully So… for peace of mind I would get from Dyson as it was no hassle returning it and they paid for return postage. A+ service
