  • Excellent price for a great game - pretty easy for all ages to play.

    • Amen to this

      Great game.

      (Buy legit)

People in the reviews are saying it's a Chinese knock off.

  • +1

@jackburton Which seller? This one is Amazon-US

    • +2

Yeah, the Amazon review system is terrible.. sometimes they review similar items (different size or configuration), and different sellers, so all reviews need to be taken with a grain of salt I reckon.

You'd imagine the Amazon direct seller would be legit, but there are stories of fakes getting into the distribution network…

It's Amazon though - you'll be taken care of if it's fake. People have jumped on other deals for less!

Yeah based on the reviews this is pretty clearly a knock off and a pretty blatant one, a fair chunk of the reviews say the manual is in Mandarin.

Recommend the legitimate game however very fun and easy to pick up.

  • Wait. So even the one from Amazon US (seller is Amazon US) is a knock off?

  • Can anyone help me with a general question re Amazon? I used to order a lot from Amazon US but then when Amazon AU started I couldn’t seem to order from them anymore. So when searching for items do I have to go from Amazon AU only? are there any boxes I have to check for international delivery.?There seems to be so much more choice on the Us site, some of which say will ship to Au but then can’t seem to find them on the AU site. also if I get prime then is it free delivery for everything or international orders over $49? cheers for any help,

Party is over, price have gone up now

    • Sold out from Amazon US, so it's defaulted to a locally fulfilled vendor.

  • +1

Showing as $34.33 when I click the link?

  • Expired now.. but technically the item sold is actually not as advertised (cheap knock off, see item reviews on amazon).

    • +1

Amazon aggregate their reviews, so it's hard to say which seller was causing the problem (the deal was from Amazon US, not a marketplace seller).

Won't the sushi go off by the time you receive it? ;-)

    Salmonella party! Vomiting party!

(Yes I know it's a game. Consider this a dad joke).

I bought this as a newbie and it confused me as hell. I think if you're new to these types of games, better to go with the standard sushi go and then buy this once you know what you're doing.

    • +1

True, still don't understand this game even with the instructions

  • Oh no, missed out!

Got this delivered yesterday. I'm pretty sure it's not fake… I don't know what to look out for in particular but the manual is printed in english and the text is clear and crisp. Cards also look good, nothing blurry or cheap feeling about them.

Only issue I have is that the lid doesn't stay on. If you tip the box upside down, the lid will just fall off. Not sure if this may be an indication of anything.

  • Picked up mine today. Has consignment note from Amazon fulfilment service in USA.

    The tin came dented 😢

    • Good to know - I just saw this and realised my sushi go tin is still unopened so will have to check!
