    • So balaclavas are cool?

      • not sure why you are asking me.

        • You seem like a knowledgeable chap

          • @iforgotmysocks: balaclavas are definitely cool, paired with a trench coat and duffel bag

Surprises the employee doesn't say the big one use discount gift cards .
Plenty of opportunities lately to load up with 10% off cards .

    • where?

      • Yesterday at least a couple Ultimate cards had the 10 % off in points .
I'm loaded ready for the sales .

I love bargaining with JB salespeople. I've found most are pretty bright; we engage in conversations about all sorts of interesting things and the bargaining is like a sidebar to the overall discussion. Then, from 10min to almost an hour later (depending on value of item and busyness in store) it comes to the end and the deal is struck with an intense final round. Good fun for all.

You describing a sexual encounter or an in-store experience?

Why do they need to be mutually exclusive?

          Woah slow down Don Juan.

      • A good bargain is better than bad sex.

So bargain sex must be the best.

"hacks" lol, the article is blatant advertising by JB…

  • I surmise the employee is not telling us the full "discriminatory" story.
Hoodie = a palliative view where any "dark" shadows cast an immediate assumption of ominous portent.
I would boycott the store until they can explain their selective discrimination.

No need to jump on your high horse. 7 Eleven tapped me on the shoulder and politely asked me to remove my hood. That's fine with me.

Maybe banning anyone wearing an EVERLAST shirt or jumper would be going too far.. maybe.

Just ask for a discount and you will get it.
    Its that simple

  • If you want a discount don't shop at JB. You won't have to deal with the pretentious sales people and can find cheaper prices elsewhere.

    • The good guys have more professional sales people

      • Funny thing is they are the same company, even ship from the same warehouses.

  • What if they refuse on the argument of "This is as low as we can go!" or "If we go any lower, it would be below our cost price!" or "If we transfer this item over, we would be losing out on the shipping costs." or "There is no such thing as a store transfer, we cannot do that."
