This is terrible advice. I can't think of any sport where Volleys are in any way good enough for regular use.
They are a casual shoe, nothing more.
my years of Futsal suggest otherwise :P
But each to their own.
i use to only use Dunlop Volley's for Futsal when i was young as that was what my dad got me. First time i used proper futsal boots was a dream, haven't looked back since.
Volley's would still be perfect if i played once a year i suppose though.
Ha ok I actually thought you were taking the piss with your original comment. The fact is, volleys offer basically zero support for the foot - insole and upper.
Better off getting a made for purpose shoe, especially if you're going to be doing an activity regularly; higher chance of injuries in a casual shoe aren't worth it in the long run, in my very strong opinion.
If budget is a concern, get something on sale.

I would strongly recommend against buying online unless they have an awesome return policy.
Every brand / model shoe fits differently and there's nothing worse than playing with misfitting boots. I've had 2 versions of the same boot be a full size off (indoor vs turf, the Turf size 7 were bigger than my indoor size 8's)Puma @ DFO
