Woolworths have introduced some low cost, low use data and national call plans.

$10, 30 Days, 1GB, Unlimited National Calls - CIS
$60, 180 Days, 12GB, Unlimited National Calls - CIS

Either recharge monthly for 1GB per month data or commit to 180 days and receive 12GB data (2GB per month). National calls included. No international calls included but packs can be added.

There’s also a $150, 365 day, 84GB option but I think Boost at $135, 365 day, 80GB is a better option.

Woolworths Mobile uses the Telstra Wholesale network.

The referrer and referee will both receive a $10 WISH eGift Card. Referral codes can only be shared after 35 days of service and gift cards sent only after staying for at least 3 active months. Maximum of 10 referrals per year. Once referred customer activates on Woolworths Mobile, they must download the Woolworths Mobile App, and enter the eligible referral code within 30 days by selecting “Refer a friend” from the slide out menu.

  • Thanks OP. Anyone knows what happens after 180days, can I auto recharge with the same deal?

    • Automatic recharge: Your Woolworths Mobile Pre-paid service automatically recharges at the end of the credit expiry period. Unless you tell us otherwise before expiry, we will automatically charge you your selected recharge amount through your chosen payment method.

      Also any unused data will rollover. Read the CIS.

  • Does Woolies still offer 10% off recharge with everyday rewards card?

      No. But you could get a recharge voucher from a Woolworths store and pay using discounted wish cards for 5% off.

  • The Woolies site only mentions international roaming (either $5/day or data only) for postpaid. As these plans are prepaid, it's not clear if international roaming is available or not.

    For comparison, the Aldi one (which is also on Telstra wholesale) can have international roaming activated WITHOUT adding any PAYG credit. This allows you to receive SMS free while overseas, which is handy for 2FA for some banks.

    • It’s not clear at all. The answer might be in this whirlpool thread or you could ask. There’s even an active Woolworths Mobile rep that posts in the thread.

  • good deal. i'm current on $10/1gb data/30 days with hello mobile (vodafone). might consider switching.

    can anyone comment on porting over to ww mobile?

      Shouldn’t be an issue. Customer service is helpful if anything goes wrong. I’ve heard reports of slow ports out from Vodafone, not much you can do about that.

    Even though I've been a member of OzBargain since 2015, I have never had the need for a Referral Link until now for Woolworths Mobile. Looking at getting the 365 $150 Mobile plan that has a $50 rebate from Cash Rewards. Where do I enter the OzBargain Users Code on the Woolworth Mobile website or what do I click on to activate this referral?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

      Scroll back up to the top of this page. Around the middle of the page, in big letters it says "REFERRAL LINKS". Under it, click on the link that says "random (18)" and it will give you a random referral code (from 18 OzBargainers).

      Once you sign up to WW Mobile, you can also add your own code with the "Edit" link to the right hand side.

      • I did click on the Referral Link that had random (18), it did show a referral code for one of the users, but then what? Will this code only become active after I enter my own code on OzBargain? Where do I get the code that I need to enter from? (Sorry for all the questions, as you can tell I am new to referrals and I have no idea).

          It would mean that during sign up on WW Mobile there should be a place for you to enter a referral code. That's how it works if it just displays a code instead of taking you directly to the vendor's deal page. I don't have Woolworhts Mobile so I can't confirm, but that's my experience with other referrals.

          Also just read your other thread on WW Mobile and Cashrewards. So definitely verify if you can get better value that way instead of referrals.

  • Further to earlier posts, Cashrewards have got back in touch with me to let me know that 'Cashback is only eligible on post-paid handset sales when purchased in conjunction with a 24 or 36 Month Mobile Phone Plan or 12 month SIM Only Plan. So, provided there is a post paid handset with it as well as the 365 day then yes!' I will be purchasing the SIM to use on my iPhoneSE. So given this, is anyone able to help me take advantage of using a referral, as I'm still none the wiser as to how these actually work.

    Managed to figure out how referrals work for Woolworths Mobile after going to their website and searching for Refer A Friend. A summary is below:
    If you already have a Woolworths Mobile Pre-paid, 12 Month SIM or Flexi Mobile Plan, spread the love and invite your besties today.

    Five easy steps
    1. Open Woolworths Mobile App on your phone
    2. Click on Refer a friend in the slide-out menu
    3. We’ll send you a unique referral code to share with your friends.
    4. Your friends sign up to a new Woolworths Mobile plan and enter the unique referral code via the Woolworths Mobile App
