Thats really cheap for a super solid camera

  • Is this better than the em5 mark 1?

    • +1

On paper from what I read the m10 ii has better software, video modes, af, etc. but the sensor seems to be the same 16mp live mos.

      • Might jump on this to replace my em5, thanks mate.

        • The em5 is a great camera. Don't think you're gonna notice much difference other than a couple small bells and whistles.

          • @Jujovitu: Guess I'll just save my $300 for other bargains in the coming few days then.

    • better is a rather vague term. it's newer, but I wouldnt say its better. Its on a lower line up, it loses weather sealing, the menu system is dumbed down quite a fair bit.. it's also been replaced by the em10 mark 3 a year plus ago..

but a great price.. so there's that!

ooh man..I've been on the lookout for this body since my 3yo destroyed mine and this is about the cheapest I've seen…even 2nd hand.

  • Consider buying mark iii instead becase of this:

    • Good point. 25 1.8 is worth about $400 min new and $250 easy If you want to sell it so badly price works out fairly close to MK2

  • The MK3 was $599 with 2 lenses (25mm and 40-150mm), quite an amazing deal but I prefer the MK2 in some ways, a nice and solid feel to it being made from metal also.

    • Yeah, mark 3 had a dumbed down menu system and lost a few options for tweaking the settings. It's got the 4K and thats the only reason you'd upgrade from the mark 2 I think. (only if your into doing a lot of 4k video)

  • Is the ibis a lot better than mk1?

From memory, the mk1 has 3 axis IBIS… this has 5 axis IBIS.
