  Advertising inside David Jones store. Bought one in store today, came with ice-cream bowl and attachment. Even tasted the ice-cream with in store display.

Is this model better than KSM160. My mother wants one but the models are confusing.

I've checked kitchenaid site but not much info on the 177 for comparison.

What are the differences?

  Essentially the same, KSM177 comes with flex edge beater and nicer exterior finish.
