How easy is it to play? Similar to say, Monopoly? Asking as my kids are at the recommended age for the game.
Totally different from monopoly, it's area control. Very simple family game

The rulebook is written with a graphic novel introduction. I did find the rules could be written better, but it's not too hard to get the hang of. You basically roll dice and take the actions they provide. Each action gives you a couple of choices.
It's an easy game to Google on YouTube if you needed help.

It's an excellent family game, or for groups looking for light strategy game that plays in around an hour. Beautifully produced with great table appeal.
It looks great and plays flawlessly, but there’s not much “game” to the game.
Compared to typical family board games it stacks up very favourably. But compared to most Euro games, it’s light enough on strategy (and heavy enough on luck) that experienced players will just feel like they’re going through the motions.
Great game, but for 3+ players imo
Have the game bought it for $79 a year ago, for this price it's a damn steal!
I have to politely disagree, my partner and I play this as 2 players all the time and love it. It has great replayability, and most importantly, is really fun!
Great game. My family all like it and whilst it can be competitive, still feels friendly enough.
