Please Find Me a Black Friday Dashcam Deal (Suitable for The Hot Climate Here)

Per topic: am looking for a replacement for my Blackvue 550 dual channel. Not knowledgeable on what's good and not, so am hoping for real world usage experience from dashcam owners.

Looking for both a single channel and a dual channel.

The Blackvue I had couldn't cope with the hot weather. SD card constantly had "please insert an SD card" issue, and now the video capture has got pixelated images with a distorted colour view.

Thanks

Blueskysea b1w has a super capacitor good for the weather

    • What's your experience with the unit?

Its pretty good 1080P quality for the price and once you plug in the cig jack, connect and put in your SD card it it will start to record and you can view all your vid on the dashcam wifi

      • The dashcam i was telling you about is on special right now

    • +1 for reliance but still need to disconnect & connect everytime I get in the car for it to start to record, note its not hard wired plus would like a decent double sided tape.

  • Any latest Blackvue should be fine, I have DR900 & this summer is hella hot. Also best if you use High Endurance microSD card.

  • Just look for a dash cam with a super capacitor, DR900S etc.

    • ouch! its $700+ =(

Viafo 119 with Samsung evo SD card

  • I've used Viafo A118 and 119 for 3 years around 2hrs a day non-stop. Hasn't missed a beat.

  • Viofo A129 has been good in Perth.

  • I went ahead to buy the shopping express viofo a119 V3 with GPS for the runabout car.

Was tempted to get the Bankstown dr900s deal but it's over $700. Without install it was $120 cheaper but doing a search here the 2 CH model sometimes go for $500-600+ so I guess I will wait
