Found a great deal on a DC pedestal fan @ Aldi. Two stores that I went to had over a dozen of these fans for $34.99 on clearance, so I would assume that many more stores nationwide could also possibly have them (not all). I bought one and set it up, seems like a great fan especially at this price.

Was originally $79.99 when it was in the 23 October catalogue

    Nice find OP! Just bought Target Goldair DC fan last night for $54 (after with $15 coupon). Otherwise would have picked up this Aldi DC fan.

    What store did you see these? I think it’s best to input the store location so people can go and get it directly. This is due to the specials are usually different in different stores.

    I've noticed "DC Motor!" is becoming a popular selling point these days. What the hell is this, doesn't this just refer to the most common type of motor used in all devices?

    Aldi in Mildura only had the normal pedestal fans @ $34.99, the DC motor fans were still @ $79.99

      I saw the same models in my local store but they were normally-priced at $39.99 - upon checking the catalogue I noticed that they’re not the same. Different looks/design than the DC motor one.

      just realize the same thing. i could not find any 34.99 one in my local store. maybe i should return it? but anyway this one looks alright, had remote control and everthing i need. maybe i should just keep it. haven't open yet, how is your experience with this one?
