Dumb question about ShopBack/Cashrewards

if a store price matches through online chat or phone call, can i still get cashback somehow? is it possible to get cashback from any other way than clicking through their website? many times better deals can be found through means that isn't possible by clicking through their website…

        1. Go to the Cashrewards site
        2. find the store you want to buy from
        3. Click the link
        4. Don’t go to any other window, or your tracking may not be tracked
        5. Complete purchase
        6. Wait up to a few days after making the purchase, you’ll get an email about your purchase being tracked
        • damn i made a purchase on friday, i did that but during the time i clicked on other tabs (on the shopback tab didn't click anything else). just checked email nothing :(. so u cant even click other tabs too right?

@Gerry H: If you've clicked elsewhere, it may or may not work. Really depends on what else you clicked and whether any of those clicks would over write the cashback cookie or not. Hence, to be 100% safe, don't click anything else.

          • @Gerry H: Also, if you are using any type of ad blocker then it probably will not track.

And, if you added the item to the cart first, and then went to the ShopBack/Cashrewards website & clicked on the link, then it might not track.

Just to be on the safe side, I decide on what I want to buy first. Then I use ShopBack's mobile app to navigate to the website & then add the items to the cart using the inbuilt browser inside that app. I've found that this will nearly always reliably track & give me credit for the purchase.

            • @vikvance: Note that some apps (for Cashrewards) specifically say they don’t work on mobile (like Uniqlo)
