Some more specs in the description would be good, like resolution? I am guessing from the product code that it is only 720p? (ie not full HD)

    LED LCD PLASMA?

If you had bothered to click on the image, all your questions would have been answered.

He's got a point, sometimes people need to be proactive. Also, its weird that you would think that Sony would still make a 720p TV in 3D at a $2000 price point.

and sony is not making plasma anymore.good price but they will be cheaper in 3 months time.so better wait if u don't need one now.

Sony TV's are no longer made in Japan and the quality has taken a real dive in recent years. There's no reason to pay a premium price for a sub-par product.

    • I bought a 3D Bravia late last year and the 2D picture quality is phenomenal. Way better than my mate's Bravia from 3ish years ago.

    It's actually 1080p

  • 1080p and 100Hz. The 40" ex520 on special last week was 1080p and 50Hz. Bought a $599 Aldi 47" 1080p and 100Hz for family and ended up returning it, 'pay for what you get'. We have 40" xbr from 3 years ago and it's really very nice.

    Hmmm seems an OK deal.

However on Monday I went to Costco Auburn - I'd already signed up on the internet as a member

40 minutes getting from Silverwater Road intersection with Parramatta Road to the Costco (about 2km)

90 minutes in a huge line before I could enter the store

90 minutes wait for the checkouts

I parked the car around 11am…

    left at 4pm

      not worth it.

We went on Monday evening 5.30pm and didn't have those issues

It was the usual traffic from Silverwater Road to Costco, so only a few minutes to get there

      Parking spot pretty much straightaway

No lineup to get in - went straight into the store

Served straight away - no lines

So it really does depend on the time you go, I definitely wouldn't go on the weekends :)

and the car park in Melbourne is only free for first 2 hours.

  • How about the Samsung 40" LED TV? How much in stock price?

  • Do they have a 55" model of this tv?

  • Do they have any Sony 55 inch LED on special?

  • So is this actually worth it, or is there anything else better out there at the moment?
