Should I Pull The Trigger on The Good Guys $500 off iPhone Promo (I Don't Want an Android Option)?

Current phone is dying fast and I'm keen to get the iPhone 11 as, with the Good Guys $500 off promo it seems like the best value iPhone. Should I buy now or are there likely to be better options within the next month or so? I've been burned by new model releases / new deals within days of purchasing before.

Seeing as you want an iPhone for some unfathomable reason, only you can answer what it's worth to you. You should know by now how it is with Apple products, being burned is included in the purchase price.

    • Sounds like someone can’t afford them. Quality phones that outlast Android devices with more security in my opinion.

    • Really? Come on now.

  • No price protection credit card?

I’m in the same predicament as you mate. Main reason I’m holding back is due to the iPhones not being 5G compatible, however that might not roll out for a few years anyway. Gotta decide by tomorrow.

cheaper to buy telstra $300 prepaid option from OW for $208 posted like i did today. Then wait for the next iphone 11 deal to come along. Big w deal we just missed on ebay would be good option and price.

JB HIFI deal is really 65 x 12 = $780 less $500 iphone deal is still $280 and you have to pay full retail at JB for the iphone.

  • What is this deal at Good Guys you speak of? The gave $20 gift cards…

  • op, can you wait a few months? Apple are releasing a new iPhone 12 in September.

      That's like a year away…

I've heard the iPhone 13 will be better than the 12, I'd wait for that if I was the OP.

  • So think about it like paying full price for the phone and getting 80GB data a month and unlimited calls and texts for $44.20/month for two years.

    • There is a 12 month option with the $500 gift card also.

      • Yes very true 60GB data and unlimited calls and texts for $23/month for a year and a full price handset….

Belong is the only other deal I can see for $25 a month, but only 10gb of data and unlimited calls and texts. Uses the telstra network. You also have unlimited data banking with them. Hmmmm decisions lol.

          • @sendcoupons: Indeed $23/month is quite a good price… Guess after 12 months you can switch to Belong?

            • @MrsJones: Yeah might just bite the bullet and upgrade my iPhone 7 to iPhone 11 pro for the full price. $23 a month for 12 months and 60gb on Telstra network isn’t bad I guess. Hopefully 5G is a while away.

              • @sendcoupons: Not a bad plan… Might have to ring around Good Guys to find an 11 in stock though…
