They do give notice that a lightning deal is going to drop but not the price thru Amazon app or website

They are not notifications, rather you can browse upcoming lightning deals through Cyber Monday > Upcoming
@cute as duck: that’s not what these people are mentioning. They already have seen the upcoming deals but out of nowhere deals that weren’t shown come up and sell out.
@BargainGhost: What I do is at the last second of the hour I click on the lightning deals section and the next deals are sometimes show up. Sometimes they may appear at half past the hour if they are prime early access deals.

I’ve also got app notifications on - once you’re on the waitlist via the desktop site, can you get notified on the app and compete the purchase on the app/phone or will the product only show ons desktop browser?
Sorry for questions but it’s not clear - weird you can’t start a waitlist using their app.
I left it open on a window and left it on the side, saw a flash after about 10 mins; not sure if it was a notification or the waitlist just switching to a timer (about 2 mins to add to cart when I saw)
That said, I never had any luck with app or notifications as well hence that's why I did that

In terms of the waitlist, is it possible to get on it when the lightning deal has concluded? I can't see it anywhere (desktop) when looking at the regular page at $199.95.
No, if the item says "waitlist full" or "lighting deal sold out" it means that they don't have more units at that price.

There's no waiting list for this item now - lightning deal is over - fully sold. If wait list was open you'd see a button on the product page.
