Coles - Spend $100 and Recieve 2000 Flybuys Points

Just got this offer in my email but unfortunately I already did my big grocery shop yesterday.

Any ideas what I can spend $100 on at Coles, where I'm not just spending money for the sake of it.

I know this is only $10 worth of points, that's why I'm looking for a way to game the system.

My first thought was gift cards but in the T&Cs it says they are an excluded.

Maybe the PlayStation credits or even the prepaid MasterCards aren't classified technically as gift cards? (Although the MasterCard has a $5 activation fee which is making this whole process less and less worth it).

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Long expiry food that is something you always buy AND is on special
    UHT? Coffee? Cereal etc
    .

    • Yeah you're right, it wouldn't be too hard to get to $100 doing it this way I guess!

    Bog roll.

Not a bad idea, it's impossible to have too much toilet paper lol

      • This is one of my classic go to items when I need to pad out a purchase to get points. Otherwise, discounted shampoo, deodorant, etc. I've found discounted items in the bathroom aisle give you best bang for your buck in this endeavour.

    Opal recharge… if u use public transport…

Note: purchase of MasterCard does not count towards these flybuys offer spends.

I'm in Victoria, never seen Myki at Victorian Coles but that would have been a good one!

    Just got this offer

Are you new to flybuys? These offers come all the time!

That isn’t that great an offer. I’m currently on a 10k points for $50 a week over 4 weeks.
I usually go for, if on special, dishwashing tablets, clothes washing powder, etc. non perishables that you would normally buy over the year and sock up a bit.

    • I'm also doing the same offer, 10k for four weeks of $70.

That's why I'm so frustrated because I already spent my $70 for the week!

Ahhh, if I was you I would let is slide. In my experience they will, probably, offer it again soon. I had a similar one stacked for 2k for $60. Sometimes better to wait until later in the week, as long as you remember.

    • hi can u link me the deal? thanks

Don't worry about, all my family members including the 2 cats get offers like this all the time from Coles & Woolies.

I love the idea with the cats. Maybe it is time Esme and Marie got their own cards.

Only way I get more offers…:)

Last week one of my cats got $10 off a $30 spend at BWS…(Woolies EDR).

So I went for her as it is too far to go and she couldn't carry it back.

Sounds like a purrfect solution. I wouldn’t give them online access though, our house would be full of cat toys.

  • I do not bother with them unless it works out at least 20% off and quite oftet can get over 25% if stacking 2 offers.

  • don't tyou get them every 3-4 months?

is this targeted? i checked my flybuys account no offers. or u need a coles account?
