Thanks op! Been meaning to buy a few since my old Kogan ones were fried. I can finally free up some power points next to the sofa :)

    Purchased. Thanks OP.

Good deal. Handy for diy project power supply

  • Delivery (for non-Prime customers) looks to be between $5 and $6. Ordered anyway, as similar deals on eBay looked to be about $20.

  • Price now $16.99

    $16.99 ???

  • Am I missing something? Showing up as $16.99 here.

  • Didn’t last long Only 19% claimed. Hopefully other deals on this around.

  • Not bad for 16.99 but I was about to be all up in them for 9.99. I didn't even need 3, but at that price.

Thanks but no thanks, only 2.1A max shared over 2 USB ports

    • Fine for my nighttime charging regime! Better on batteries, too :)

This. I'm not sure why everyone claims to need half hour fast charging when they leave it plugged in for 6+ hours…

Slower the better if you're doing overnight charging. I like to pair it up with an extra long USB cable just to make sure it charges slow…!

    • The debbie downer guy who missed out.

This is just a generic charger that appears on most china websites….. Ali has them for little more than usd$2

      AUD$3.32 plus postage

    • +2

True, but by the time you convert to AUD ($3.32) and get three of them, you're at AUD $10 plus the time it takes for Ali to deliver

      • The Amazon offer is was a bit cheaper as a bundle of 3, but most people probably don't need 3.

  • I would be very wary of using these. Cheap no brand Chinese chargers have a tendency to blow up or even catch on fire. I have personally had one or two cheap chargers explode and as a result, I only use brand name chargers now.

If you want a safe cheap charger, have a look at one star reviews on AliExpress for items with hundreds of reviews. If you don't see any serious issues reported, then most likely they are safe to use. Or you could buy from a brand like BlitzWolf, which is recognised as a top quality brand.

This is back on sale again. OP, can you remove the expiry? Unfortunately no one will see this post since it has been posted early in the month. This 30 day posting rule needs to be updated, I think.

Edit: it looks like they removed the white units from the Lightning Deal (only 10% has been claimed for the last two hours). The black set is on for the same price.

    • That's a good thing. It's best to avoid dodgy no name chargers like this that may explode or catch fire.
