Dell V313W printer ink

If you bought this printer cheap you will realise that Dell wants like $40 a cartridge. Well I found these guys in the US:

Anyway, the black cartridge works (I haven't tried the colour one yet). My pages printed a bit fuzzy, but maybe I just need to clean my print head.

There is also an Australian supplier, but they charge about 60-70% more I think.

Glad I sold this printer…. Ink is bleeding expensive, the printer takes ages to warm up and whoever came up with the idea of single use cartridges needs to be shot. You can read all about it in the 1 star reviews on Amazon

Seriously, if you have a V313 or V313w, sell or get rid of it and buy something that isn't a Dell or a Lexmark. (e.g Canon Mx340 wireless printer). It's ten times better than the V313 and your wallet will thank you in the long run.

  I will have to investigate the canon. But 16$ a pop to refill both the inks isn't too bad. (I do not print a lot)

Yeah I bought it through Dell Swarm as well, and I've only been using the scanner. Consider how much it costs in the first place, it's probably not even worth the hassle selling it…
