Has Anyone Else Received a Foreo and a full size Mac Foundation

in the post? I can't remember signing up for any competition nor actually buying these stuff.

Cheers,

I remember a scam from a few years ago where people would send out “samples”. After a set period of time had elapsed, there was an invoice sent out because the products were not returned. They were usually items people would have no problem using and not thinking to much about.

If you didn’t pay them, the debt collector letters would start rolling in. Everything was usually fake. Fake products, fake invoice and fake debt collector, but it was enough for some people to just pay it or get scared into paying it.

I’m not saying that is what is happening here, but it would be best to check the validity of where they came from and why they were sent. Was there anything on the packaging that lets you know where it is from or who sent it? Was it from a friend or family? Loyalty card membership perk? Competition win? Possibly an eBay order that correctly addressed but wrong items placed in the box. Was it a potential Xmas present from your shared, joint account holder?

If in doubt and you can’t work out where or how you received it, don’t use it until you can verify why you have it. Or box it up and send it back. They could be fake and therefore have unknown ingredients in them. They could be stolen.

TL;DR: What did the company who sent it to you say when you asked them? :P

    • Thanks :) My kid and the dog destroyed the outer packaging - they thought it was an early pressie from Santa for being "good boys". All that I could get from the remnants is that the seller is in Deepdene, Vic and that the package was addressed to one us.

  • Are you trying not to humble brag about scoring a great Foreo deal during the recent Black Friday sales? 😉

    • Nope. Was this posted on OZB? The one we received is the luna mini 2 and it came in the same package as the Mac foundation in nc-40.

      • Shame!

Not posted here as far as my search revealed.

All original packaging? Any paperwork included? Any c/c charge?

        • Original packaging. No cc charge. Paperwork, if any, eaten by our dog.

          • @[Deactivated]: Bad Cujo !

              • @[Deactivated]: lol … Is that Cujo's halloween costume?

                • @[Deactivated]: That's him , hiding in the neighbour's garden , ready to pounce on the postman Santa. He goes crazy around the festive seasons.

        • What is weird is that, according to a quick google search , it would appear that nc-40 in mac is close enough to warm natural in Bobbi Brown , which is the foundation that the mrs uses.

          • @[Deactivated]: hmmm … mystery deepens!

High-end products with great reviews online

            • @[Deactivated]: Yep. We have an Irish surname and live in a predominantly Caucasian suburb. This is the shade of skintone the foundation is meant for. Has to be for my wife.

              • @[Deactivated]: Perhaps GWP by Mrs JJb?

I tried this once with MrK but it didn't work :(

                • @[Deactivated]: Maybe… Must have been an exxy purchase to get free products worth over $300.

@[Deactivated]: Perhaps Mrs JJb learnt a few OzB hacks to obtain GWP that has higher value than the original purchase $ 🤑

More likely that you will have been seen with an even smear of mudcake on your face, at particular point.

Back a bit you endured a terrible comestible crime incident. Only the good outcome there as reported, militating against you water-boarding your workmates.

A Good Samaritan, noting your grizzled and mudcakey appearance from earlier in proceedings, has tried to help.

Most likely has similar wish for you to have a somewhat less stressful and drama-filled 2020, Jar Jar Binks…

    :)
