Clean & full bodied coffee. Notes of dark chocolate with orange peel, with slight citrus acidity. Delicious vanilla & red fruits in a pleasant, sweet aftertaste.

Colombia Inza Microlot

Altitude: 1,750 - 1,850
Varietal: Caturra - Castillo
Processing: Washed

Sweet chocolate & caramel with a hint of floral notes. Smooth & well balanced body & acidity.

Nicaragua Regional Dipilto

Altitude: 1,300 masl
Cupping Score: 85
Processing: Washed
Varietal: Caturra - Catuai

    Its just one of their blends, it's solid but not spectacular unlike some of their single origin beans.

      Thanks, yes the lucky dip will be dependent on what is being roasted at the time but will be a specialty grade either single origin or blend :) It will be a random selection

  Can any of these be used for cold drip/filter coffee or are they most suitable for espresso?

    Mostly a medium to medium dark roast so will perform really well for milk and espresso.
    Still nice for filter/cold drip but a light to light medium tends to excel more for long black :)

  got my delivery yesterday was really excited to try it but a disappointment ,firstly it didn't mention anywhere on any bag the roasting date,no smell of the coffee or freshens smell ,no taste in the beans it looks like a normal bean from coles/woolies not really worth that price tag when you can get similar product for half of the price.

    Hi fadiadelaide,

    I did get this same message that you sent as a PM and also replied directly to you :)
    Glad to hear that you received your coffee. We don't put roast dates as all the coffee is fresh roasted as per the deal listing. Because the coffee is probably only 1 day old from roasting, it takes a few days for the beans to degas and allow the flavours to develop fully; so will get better over the next few days :)

    A bit of air in the top of the valved bag will assist in the degassing process and during transit the air is usually expelled through the valve in the bag hence why probably not as much aroma upon initial inspection.

    These are higher quality specialty coffees ethically sourced direct from farmer and we just won 9 medals at the Golden Bean Australia/NZ Coffee roasting comp a couple of weeks (using some of these coffees) Because of this and because I roasted the 4 separate coffees myself, I can be confident that they are roasted to a competetive standard ;)

    I understand that taste is subjective though and different people like different coffees/roast profiles and hopefully over the next few days as they develop; you are able to enjoy some of the 4 varietals that we sent.

    If you need any advice or assistance in the brewing process etc then please let us know, we are happy to assist.

      Thanks Simon for getting back to me , i guess that makes sense thats why it would be really easeir if their is a roasting date or at least a note saying to wait couple of days before brewing no worries hope it gets better will leave it for few days.
