I've been waiting for a price-drop on this one for a while and spotted it on sale on the Microsoft store last night. I'm only a couple of hours in, but I'm having a blast so far. Its a very linear, story-driven experience which actually feels like a breath of fresh air after playing so many open world games recently. It looks and plays great on the Xbox One X and the soundtrack is amazing.

There's also a free demo so you can try before you buy.

For those who bought origin access for Jedi fallen order, this game is included.

Yep. That's how I'm playing it on the PC at the moment. Superb story and gameplay. A must play!

I feel this game will go sub $15 eventually… just seems way overpriced at the moment.

Yeah it has an Order 1886 and Murdered Soul Suspect feel to it. I'm thinking $8 Christmas 2020.

      • The Order 1886 was an incredible game, never understood the internet hate for it, looks amazing, played great, voice acting and motion capture are still some of the best i have ever seen and the atmosphere of the game makes it something quite memorable.

  • Ok maybe an odd question — how necessary / widespread is rat-killing in this game?

    • +1

It's one of the core mechanics….

    • Umm… I don't know if it changes later in the game but so far it has been more about evading rats, rather than killing them. THEY pretty much kill everything they come into contact with though.

      • Yes it's more evading and moving rats than actually killing rats.

  • Many reviewers have been talking about this as a game of the year contender.
