It's been a long time since I've shared a deal from Choetech so I asked them for a deal on a wireless charger. This one doesn't come with a charging indicator light that people seem to hate, but it does include a panda bookmark 🐼

It can fast wireless phones including (but not limited to) Samsung (S6Edge+/S7/S7Edge/S8/S8+/S9/S9+/Note8/Note 9/S10 etc) up to 10W and iPhone (8/8 Plus/X/XR/XS/XS Max) up to 7.5W. Other Qi enabled devices that do not have 10W/7.5W wireless charging will charge at 5W.

Click here to see if your phone supports Qi wireless charging.

  • Price in title please

  • +3

Sorry guys butchered my title copying it over ;)

  • Price in title 😁 can someone point me to a good S10 charge lead (based on personal experience)

    • Cant go past blitzwolf for usb-c

  • Can someone tell me more about iPhone and 7.5w charging only?
I’ve got a XS and wife has the 11 max pro. Will this charger do the job?
Better or worse than the usbc charger the 11 comes with.

I’ve got an old 12w USB block for myself at the moment.

    • Yeah this will do the 7.5W fast charging, but you will need a QC2 or QC3 USB charger. They're on sale quite frequently.

      • Would a power adapter that does USB Power Delivery 2.0 be able to do quick charge as well?

  • Can anyone tell me if this works with Pixel 3XL?

    • It will only do 5W for the Pixel 3XL. Google made it so only approved wireless chargers will fast wireless charge it, like their own Pixel wireless charger.

      • What about pixel 4

        • +3

It's less botched with the Pixel 4 but this still won't work. The Pixel 4 has 11W Qi charging and the charger must have an Extended Power Profile (EPP). The T539-S only has a Basic Power Profile (BPP) so it won't fast charge.

You can look up brands/models here to see if they have EPP.

      • Thanks mate

      • How about s10 plus?

  • Does this charge on xiaomi mi mix 3 5g?

    • The 5g model has no wireless charging. Instead, you get a slightly bigger battery.

    • Does it have Qi?

  • S10 5G? Would this fast charge? I never know if I should be looking at S10, S10+, S10E. Nothing seems to mention S10 5G compatability, e.g. when looking for cases.

The trick is to search for what Qi speed your phone supports and go from there. Google says it does 10W and that's what it'll do with this charger.

      • Unless I misunderstand, the product specs seem to indicate otherwise;

"5. Fast wireless charging for Samsung S9/S9+ requires a separate Quick Charge 2.0/ 3.0 charger instead of the original one."

        • Yeah you misunderstand. This wireless charger supports 10W charging and the Samsung S10 supports 10W charging. So when a Samsung S10 is placed on the wireless charger it will charge up to 10W. Put it on a 5W wireless charger and you're going to get up to 5W.

          • @Clear: Gotcha. So this is just the pad, and requires a separate power supply for fast charge.

            • +1

@UncleRico: That's correct. QC2 or QC3 is recommended as they draw the correct amount of power.

              • @Clear: Cheers. I'm easily confused, not least by the convention which sees this and other such pads described as "chargers" despite the absence of an included power charger.

  • Any chance someone has used this with s10+ to confirm fast cjarging? Or does that only work with the samsung charger?

  • Hmmm. Product notes seem to suggest it won't work natively for fast charging, and I quote,

"NOTE: A Quick Charge 2.0/ 3.0 adapter must be used for fast wireless charging."

  • is there any major difference between a cheapo pad and a real pricy pad from a more well known brand like belkin?

    • You pay more with a Belkin. A lot more.

  • Damn thought it was a crepe pan for a second

  • 😬 missed out! should have gone to bed later/woken up earlier… stupid baby sleeping hours!

Been looking for a cheap charger with NO charging indicator! My current ones can be seen from the moon when charging!

    Oh well, next time :(

    • I got mine today and it DOES have an indicating light! I'm returning it.

      • I too received mine today. The charging light will turn off about 10 seconds or so after placing a device on it.
