Samsung Galaxy S10+ 512GB from JB Hi-Fi or TheGoodGuys? Dual-SIM and Snapdragon or Exynos?

So I'm looking at picking up an S10+ 512GB using the $500 gift card from JB or TGG after signing up to Telstra.

Curious if anyone knows if TGG model is a dual-SIM or not? They list the same product code (1091005339) on the page as JB does which does have dual-SIM but they don't specifically mention dual-SIM which I'm looking for.

Also, do these units come with the Snapdragon or Exynos processor? TGG lists it as Snapdragon/Exynos which is no help at all while JB list nothing at all.

  • Don't think any Australian models are Snapdragon, unless it's a gray import.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 3 digit model number are Exynos eg. SM-G975F/DS, while 4 digit are Snapdragon eg GM-G9730.

    • Ahh bummer. Does that mean they don't support Qualcomm QC3.0?

      • Neither support QC3.0, but they have QC2.0 aka Fast Charge.

        • Seriously? What the hell is up with that.

Considering just waiting and going S11 at this stage.

          • @Tacooo: skip samsung in Australia if you want snapdragon

            • @Richardc: Problem is no local warranty if I get grey import.

              • @Tacooo: I mean skip samsung in Australia.

                • @Richardc: Oh right. Depends what next gen brings I suppose. They're one of the only manufacturers that have dual SIM, decent internal storage and a 1440p+ display.
