Can anyone comment on how rust/tarnish resistant the unpainted metal parts are? I got a couple of similar flasks from Kmart that all rusted around the lip of the bottle.
On the inside, or out, or both? I’ve got Avanti brand and they show no signs of this (purchased from Harris Scarfe…. might be dirt cheap just after Xmas as they’re in administration)
Can someone comment on how well it retains heat? I use a digital kettle to heat water up to 40deg, then pour it in a thermos so i dont have to keep turning on the kettle but the one I am using now is not enough as bub is drinking more.

I used to have tiger, zojirushi, thermos, Stanley. All smells after few years because of the lids are plastic. This lid is stainless steel with a silicone ring. Hopefully it solve the problem.
This thing can hold ice without melting for almost 2 days!
A good idea for guys to drink out of metal/ glass bottles. Plastic reduces testosterone.
