Not sure if this qualifies as a deal or competition, but Woolworths has this promotion currently, where you can play an Augmented Reality game, where you plant a tree, and for every 5 'virtual trees' planted, they will pay Landcare to plant a real native tree in 2020. Might interest some, as it's free after all.

* The “Woolworths Rewards Christmas Campaign - Tree Planting program” runs from 00:01 AEDT on 06/12/19 to 23:59 AEDT on 24/12/19 or until 100,000 virtual trees are planted within the “Woolworths Rewards - Plant a Tree” Facebook augmented reality experience. Landcare Australia (in conjunction with Woolworths) will coordinate the planting of one actual Native Australian tree in Australia for every 5 virtual trees planted in the Facebook experience. Limit of one virtual tree per Facebook user. Virtual trees planted by users will contribute to the count of planted virtual trees when users enter the augmented reality experience and see their virtual tree appear. The number of trees to be planted will be determined at the end of the promotional period. Trees will be planted in the 2020 planting season.
I don't think it is either a deal or a competition.
It is a marketing programme.
