Not really grindy imo.
Just ALOT of hours you need to be in the game as it's a pretty long game. The quests and travel time may be repetitive though.
I put around 120 hours into this game and enjoyed it.
Agreed, I found Odessey much more refined and enjoyable than Origins. I’m currently on 95hrs of gameplay and still not finished the main story line but looking forward to playing the game still. In the beginning you get asked how you’d like to play the game and I chose ‘the way the game is supposed to be played’ which basically makes you have to open the map more organically rather than just knowing exactly where to go each time. I’d recommend choosing this option otherwise you kind of just try do mission after mission without actually enjoying the game and the world.
oh wow 95 hours into the game and still not done with the main story? You must have done alot of side quests and exploring hehe. I finished the main quests around 32 hours from memory.
I have not played it much but I was told that at a certain point the game does become very grindy and you have to complete generic copy paste quests to level up in order to progress (or BUY your way to progression)
I did find when I was level 20-30 I did had to grind a few side quests so I can be high enough for the main quests. Apart from that, it wasn't that bad.
Hmm not looking forward to that. Well the game runs so bad on my PC that I can't progress much anyway.
I played this all the way through and want to go back and play Origins, never played it lol

The main issue is Uplay which is a horrible piece or software I want nowhere near my computer…ever.
What makes it horrible? I may just be lucky but I haven't had problems with Uplay yet.
My only issue with the uplay client is it does cause some of my non uplay games to stutter. As soon I closed uplay the stutter disappears!
Just….close Uplay then? Maybe you need to untick the option to start Uplay when Windows starts. I only have it running when I play a Ubisoft game.
If you think uplay is horrible just count yourself lucky that you've never had issues with origin.
I've been playing apex now for a long time and I haven't really had any issues with it, it's not ideal but I don't know why people thinks it's so horrible
I know how you feel, had delete and alter files in windows to put origin into r&d mode just to get reasonable download speeds and stop it droping out 0 mb/s all the time.
Just found out that Odyssey is around 24 Aus Dollars on Epic games. There is a $10 coupon they gave. I am not sure if it is for everyone or just targeted but worth checking out.
Great price. I finished AC: Origins, but I heard that AC:Odyssey is very grindy.
Is this true?
