What protection do you have when purchasing from Amazon 3rd party sellers

The Lodge L5HS3 5 Piece Set Cast Iron Set https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B004QM8SLG/ref=ppx_yo_d… is $330 from Amazon AU but a 3rd party seller has it for $56 with free delivery. Is it a scam or what and what protection do i have if it is a scam when purchasing through amazon?

  • Check out Amazon's A-Z Guarantee.

I'm pretty sure you'll get your money back if you get scammed.

    • Cool thanks, was curious if there was some dodgy thing scammers could do that would hurt you beyond that.

      • You might still have to fork out for return shipping

        • Item not as described most likely seller will need to pay.

          • @foxmulder: Ideally, but from my experience, Amazon A-Z guarantee will say return the item and post evidence to them before they can proceed.

            • @noone: Ok. I'm pretty sure you can ask the seller to pay for it, if not, you can ask Amazon to give you credit for it in your account.

  • +1

Is there a link to the $56.00 set?

    • True OzBargainer!

    • This, seems worth a crack.

      • Hmm, sorry not worth that if it's cracked

        • Maybe that's why it's $56?

  • Got the item has been shipped email so will see what happens I guess
