Do you enter these codes in the game or somewhere in the store?

I don’t have a switch but know someone who doesn’t have the game as yet. Thanks.

You enter them in the game's start menu, there's an option called 'Mystery Gift'.

    I love Porygon.

  • I never played Pokemon before. Any good this one

Me and all my mates have been pleasantly surprised how fun it is. :) It's not for all but if you enjoy the series you should enjoy it.

I think its probably the best to start with in a while.

It's made so you can casually play it, the quality of life improvements are such that you get to experience more of the game with less time wasted, and at the end of the game you can choose whether to delve into competitive or just remain casual.

It's biggest strength is that you can actually 'catch them all'. As in, you can actually get all 400 Pokemon in the game just with one friend owning the opposite version, before you were really just relying on already owning the previous games.

Tldr; Ignore reviews, if you ever wanted to try one this is probably as good as it gets so far.

the pokémon formula for gameplay is pretty good, so if it looks at all enjoyable, you should be fine with just about any pokémon game, including sword/shield. the game has some issues mostly to do with feeling like developers are just doing the "bare minimum" for a new game and cutting content, which ends up marking it as a good game, not a great game if you've been playing the others. for a first timer, most of these issues would be a non-factor

never the less, it's the first proper pokémon game you can play on a tv or monitor, which is something i always wanted.

      • *unless you had Pokemon Stadium back in the day

  • Thanks. Will redeem tonight.

  • Ball Guy

  • How do we redeem these? In the game or on a website? My goddaughter has this Pokemon game and I'd like tell her about this.

    • Select Mystery Gift in the menu when playing the game and enter the code.

  • Is anyone having trouble with that first code (K0UN1NMASC0T)? I've entered it a number of times and it doesn't appear to work.

    Another code:
    PRESENT

    10x luxury balls
