      They will be grey imports, aka Canon won't honor your warranty, they will provide their own however. Some companies provide good service, some don't.

        sometimes its very much worth it for the hundreds saved, however, i'd be a bit more cautious about a 50 dollar savings.

          Agreed, I bought a grey 550d and I saved $400-500 when compared to prices at retailers here. It was a bit different, the overseas company had a sister company in North Sydney which they use as their local service centre, so I wouldn't have had to send it overseas and I could take it into a storefront.

          Agreed on a $50 saving as well, you would not bother.

    go with nikon d3100 instead similar price much better camera. also $50 not worth the risk with camera. so many mechanical component that failure is quite high compare to other electronic equipments.
