Sign up to Energy Australia through Cashrewards and get $110 cashback after roughly 3 months then repeat the process with some other mob.

That works out cheapest way unless you have very high usage ie, big house and 4 or more people in.

    • To give you an example, based on 500 kwh per month on a single rate tariff. The difference between the lowest cost energy provider over 3 months which is Reamped Energy compared with Energy Australia is $40, factor in the cashback of $110 by going with Energy Australia and you're better off by $70 over 3 months.

  • I recently switched to Energy Australia as they had the best deal for my type of usage/solar feed in rates. Unsure if I can score the $110 sign up bonus via Cashrewards as I had to sign up over the phone instead of online due to having solar system.

    • Unfortunately Energy Australia don't offer Cashback on Solar plans. It's excluded on the Cash Rewards site.

  • agl offers $75 sign up credit + ongoing credits. but you to read the fine detail, the rates, do your sums and choose whatever best meets your needs.

  • Most of Qld only have one provider option, Ergon Energy. If you live in the SE corner you may have additional
    retail choices.

  • Use https://wattever.com.au . The only website I found solar export is included in comparison

  • It can depend on your usage as some have cheaper supply charges and others cheaper usage charges, then there are various cashbacks, feed in tarrifs etc. They're all trying to make it as complicated as possible so it's hard to work out. The answer will absolutely not be the same for everyone.
