Hisense Smart TV Application List

Hi all

Does anybody know if there is a list of all apps that can be installed on the Hisense range of smart TV'S?

I am considering purchasing the 65R8 if the price is right during the boxing day sale but don't know what the list of apps that it supports is.

I have been toying with getting an Android tv from Hisense instead of the R8 but I have a shield that I currently use so not sure it would be worth it.

Just weighing up my options so knowing what apps it supports would help.

Cheers

  • You should consider getting a smartbox like Shield TV or Mibox S.

It has youtube/ netflex and all the regular apps through.

    • I have a shield already which is why I am leaning towards the 65R8 but I was just curious about what apps it supports anyway to understand options.

      Cheers

      • I will say you don't want to use the built in apps. Not very fast. And good news is the TV remote can control the shield TV box.

        • That's good to know re the remote controlling the shield.

  • Got the R7. Comes with Netflix, YouTube, Prime, IView, Plex, Stan, YouTube Kids plus various other unknown apps.

Definitely grab an R8 and pair it with your Shield.

    • Cheers.

    • Hi mate, would you recommend the 55r7 they r going for $800 at the moment? My other options are tcl p8m at $700, p8s at $800 and hisense rg at 600

      • Yeah it's a good telly. I'd go the R7 over the others you mentioned as it comes with Dolby Vision/Atmos.

Although there has been people with some issues with the R7 and R8, including myself, where the screen glitches/tears at times.

        • Thanks for the advice.. Btw the p8s has dolby vision and atmos too.. And the good guys can reduce it further to 760

        • +1

I followed yor advice and got the R7 for $780 from JB hifi
