Hi guys, I am with boost and heading overseas. Boosts charge $5 per minute. Is there a better solution/alternative for my roaming needs? I have dual SIM option in my phone. Does any carrier offer good value prepaid roaming options? Thanks in advance.

Where are you off to? I bought prepaid sims here for Europe, some deal some time ago. Worked well.
I know I can always buy sim cards in the country I will go to. But I wanted to receive phone calls in my Australia number when I am away.
Unless you want to pay lots… voicemail. Or voicemail to email. Or use whatsapp, etc.
If you're heading overseas for work, get the boss to pay, if it's a holiday… turn the phone off and have a holiday.
If you want to use your Australian number overseas, you have very limited options, either change mobile provider or suck up the roaming rates.
Vodafone is not bad. Get cheapest month to month play and you will pay daily $5 for using your plan inclusions but check the country to make sure it is part of Zone 1. Cheapest roaming option
doesn't help the OP when they're on boost, and that $5 roaming is only on postpaid plans.
$5 roaming works on month to month plans also
I said nothing about contract, but ok. Month to month then. OP is prepaid on Boost now, so they'll need to port over and forgo the Boost plan to get $5/day roaming.
Just buy a random prepaid sim in your destination.
