How to access the Amazon App Store from Australia? Was the loophole fixed recently? It's not working now :-(

Hi Guys,

Firstly thx for the great community and everyone that posted about Amazon's 1 Free App a ady deal. Thats a pretty good deal.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get through to the webstore even after trying all the steps mentioned in the guide at this link>

Has anyone tried to access this store recently from Australia ?

I tried with a Fake US name / gmail mail address / Correct(Google maps) postal address and CC card number.

Uninstalling previous attempts to get to the store , uninstalling the previous Kindle App that was registered on the device.

I am running out of ideas on what am I doing wrong or if Amazon have now plugged this loop hole ? Are they tracking Ip addresses ? Can anyone who has tried to access the store recently please confirm their results ?

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong ?

    Nope still working on my phone. You did enter credit card and address details on Amazon right?

      how did you do it mate? I entered the fake US add and cc number, tried two different ID, no success still

        followed the guide. But yeah I think I had to enter the cc and us addy again for the one click details. It prompted me to do it when I logged in the first time on my computer. Check your one click details since that's what is going to be used for the app store.

        ANd as alebox said below the address was a problem so i just googles it and used the town centre address

          Well I tried with a correct US address and a fake c card number, but it didn't work even with the one click payment system

          Don't knwo what's happening.

          I thin it might be because I had installed kindle on my phone before and Amazon can somehow identify my device as non US because of previous installation.

          you did use the same name for the cc right? If cc is linked to the name, then putting a different name might not work?

    works for me still. cant remember what i did. there was a problem with the address i think. not willing to uninstall in case it doesnt work again after :P
