A deal was just posted for a Mavic mini combo for $99 from a seller on Amazon. Stupid me jumped straight on it before doing any investigating and paid. As soon as I went back on Ozbargain there were a few comments saying “brand new user beware” and then the deal was unpublished.
No money has left my account and I canceled the order 3 minutes after i placed it. Does anyone know if my details are now in the hands of the “scammer”??

Did they refund your money?
I had a choice of getting the money back within 24 hours as a credit or wait 7 days or so.
I opted for the credit as I was certain that I would spend the money.

shame amazon aren't putting a halt to these dodgy new sellers
Well lesson learnt. Don't buy expensive significantly cheaper item from "Just launched" sellers. Email them first and ask see if they respond before I take my chance next time.
Between nearly 2 weeks now without my refund yet, although Amazon is onto it.
Ok just happened to me. When the deal is too good to be true it usually is!
Although the price of the drone is only about $400 cheaper than the cheapest.
Be aware of scammers and alert Amazon ASAP with all evidence.
