I've never had a dashcam before in my history of driving, and now I feel I must not push my luck, and have it in case anything happens.
However, with a multitude of options, I'm confused on what to buy. My only conditions are:
- Must be from a local physical store (i.e. not from overseas websites and the like)
- Within $100 ideally but could go higher if required
What options do I have? How difficult are they to install? Do they always use the cigarette socket? Ideally I'd like one for external footage and one for driver side footage (thinking of driving Uber).
