The 3000kg is $199.99. I think it was about $120-130 during the same sale as the 1600kg one.
An axle-weight limit of 1600kg is fine for any car or ute, or a medium SUV.
Works fine for my Falcadore, for the occasional service or repair.
Only if you drive something like a Landcruiser or Hummvee do you need 3 ton lift.
Though I'm sure there are other reasons for wanting the heavier model.
It's the working height too. The 1600 won't go as high.
I have both of these. The 1600kg is smaller and has a single cylinder. The 3000kg is very heavy and should be the dual cylinder version.

No it's not. Most likely due to the fact it is extremely heavy

If U examined the photos on both OzB listings, they have shortened this new version hence the lift height is now only 505mm. You really need 550mm for SUVs.
Is thus actually suitable for prado or other 4wd which have high standard clearances?
This isn’t the best price ever but I’d still consider it good value for money. This is a fantastic jack HOWEVER if your thinking of purchasing this please note it is VERY HEAVY!! Maybe consider an aluminium jack if portability is important to you.
