Can you expand on what you need? If it's just needing to know "yeah there's power here" and "it's around the right voltage" or "it's drawing about 4 amps" then pretty much anything will do the job. I've got a 20 year old one that cost around $10 that's been doing that since new but if you need more precision or other features than perhaps not.
