Noticed my credit expires on the 4th. Wondering has anyone tried purchasing something then using free cancellation, cancel the travel credit?
Would you get the credit back?

OzBargain classifieds is not a place for users to resell/broden things, it is for unwanted personal items and will remain this way. We had situations where users were signing up to credit card statement offers they didn't want, taking it away from users who did want, so they could resell it on the classifieds, or signing up to multiple credit cards and reselling the benefits on the classifieds to supplement the annual fee, basically using OzBargain to pay for their credit cards.
If users want these things, or anything, then they can post in the wanted section as they currently do. There is no loss to the buyers as has been portrayed.
I understand that a number of 'resellers' are unhappy about this, but we aren't catering towards that.

I use my credit to fly my partner interstate to see her family, and the travel date can be long after the booking date. Could be an option for you?
I'm pretty sure there is still an extra charge if you want to change dates after the initial booking. The booking phone line can tell you more, or it might also show on the website.

Me too. I have $400 travel credit want to sell too.
I cancelled and rebooked without any penalties. So use the credit to book a hotel with a potential stay. Good luck.
